Honor Flight Tri-State’s (HFTS) is a non-profit who’s mission is to raise funds to take veterans, free of charge, to see their memorials in Washington DC. We have been successful in bringing 6500 veterans over 15 years! They thought they were forgotten and the sacrifices made by them and their families had faded from America’s conscience. An Honor Flight trip proves just the opposite - they are treasured and cherish by our nation.
Our mission takes on a new meaning as their ages advance and their sacrifices fade. We have seen firsthand what this trip means to them. We have seen it through their smiles and tears. This is their long awaited “Welcome Home” and “ Thank you for your service”. Our veterans would like you to know “There are not enough thank-you’s for me to express my gratitude for my Honor Flight .” says one veteran. “ My Honor Flight was one of the truly finest days of my life,” says another veteran.
